He is survived by his wife, Elaine Capehart; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Denni Capehart and Robert and Jessica Capehart; grandchildren, Rachel Poss, Kade Poss, Benjamin Thomas, Gracie Sharp, and Grayson Taylor; David Robert Capehart, age 72 of Rising Fawn, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in CHI Memorial Hospital in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Mrs. Betty Layton age 90, of Knoxville TN, made her final move to heaven on April 25th. Daris Penley passed away on April 26, 2023. Determined to expand his horizons, he began selling life insurance with Franklin Life during the evenings, while continuing to hold his day job at L. A. Lee. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Lisa Marie Poteet will be 4:30 pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 from Keith Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Miller Tate; step daughters and son-in-law, Melanie and Shane Lovingood of Dalton and Laura Reed of Loganville; step son and daughter-in-law, William and Stephanie Miller of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Vicki and Bruce Robinson and Amelia Flemming, all of Marietta; brothers and sister-in-law, Frank and Gail Tate of Mableton and Jim Tate of Marietta; grandchildren, Miller and Michael Lovingood, Sarah McKellar, Annaliese, Ashley and Wilson Miller and Hannah and Tresha Reed.
