Death Knights are the new kid on the block in WotLK, and anyone who played during the first few seasons back then might have PTSD from facing Death Knights, as they were initially extremely overpowered, to the point where perhaps up to 75% of the ladder was Death Knights, and double DK / Holy Paladin teams dominated the 3v3 ladder.
